The night of his 264th birthday, Lestat wakes to the bliss of Louis in the coffin beside him. Pressed to him like a part of himself, like a limb. Like a second heart beating outside of his chest. He presses a kiss to Louis' forehead. And hums happily. And says, "Bonsoir, cheri. I was dreaming of you."

Louis blinks awake, inhales, smiles. Presses a sleepy little kiss to the corner of Lestat's mouth. "Is that so?"

"Oui," Lestat says, and kisses Louis on the forehead again. Soaking up the heat of his soft bare skin. So content in the quiet dark of their coffin he can't imagine ever opening the lid.

"And what was dream Louis doin' exactly?" Louis asks, and kisses Lestat on the mouth once, twice, three times.

"Oh, all sorts of terribly filthy things," Lestat says, drawing a little rumble of laughter from Louis at once.

"Guess he must've known it was your birthday, hm?" Louis says, his voice dropping low, dark as the coffin sealed off from the light all around them. His hand roaming down Lestat's chest, over his ribcage, falling sweet as kisses against the dip of his belly.

Lestat tries to respond but no words will come. His whole body seized with weakness as Louis' mouth begins to follow the trail mapped out by his hand.

this scene being right after louis' transformation has me wondering if lestat had those capes hidden away in a mausoleum or stole/bought them quickly and made louis wait for him at the graveyard but didn't use the time to clean himself up properly

but what the most important thing is that lestat wanted to make louis feel like a proper vampire by getting him a cape, and during that time the most popular vampirical influence was, which is so beautiful to me

i need claudia to haunt lestat but not in the overt, in your face way that dreamstat haunted louis. i need claudia to sit quietly just barely in sight. blurred in the background of every shot lestat is in. even if we don't always see her, he does. but if he tries to look at her directly she moves out of sight. she's gone. he has no chance to fix things with her because she's dead so he doesn't get to look her in the eyes anymore

So I know that amc+ usually does a month long free trial when a new season of iwtv comes out, but they don't promote the free trial much. So if anyone hears about this happening for s2 of Mayfair Witches or the Talamasca spinoff when that comes out, spread the word please!

if i got the chance to interview oliver stark about 911, you bet your ass i wouldn’t waste a single question over something like ‘will tommy be jealous of buck and eddie’s friendship?’ after we have seen multiple times he isn’t, and most recently in the new episode. not to mention we’ve seen even eddie isn’t jealous of buck and tommy’s relationship, and we were shown that yet again in the premiere. there are so many more interesting things you could ask about buck’s actual relationship and that story, or even buck and eddie. but no.
